PINK ULYSSES is a nostalgic tribute to those thinly disguised homoerotic body culture magazines of the fifties, which have inspired several of DeKuyper`s luminous, iron-muscled compositions. The sensuality of the warm earthy film imagery and the smooth eroticism of the hard bodies merge into an original voyage of stylistic discovery, an exacerbation of masturbatory desire, an embroidery of the longed for return of the hero from the sacking of Troy.
