Boys to MenDirected by : Phillip Bartell, Duncan Tucker, Dan Castle, Carl Pfirman BOYS TO MEN
is a new collection of four award-winning short films examining the life stages
of the modern gay man: lust, love, sex and commitment.
In Phillip Bartell`s heartwarmingly funny CRUSH, 12-year old Tina has a
crush on 16-year old Robbie, who has a special crush all of his own.
THE MOUNTAIN KING, directed by Duncan Tucker, is the sexy tale of a
persuasive hustler who disrupts the quiet life of a straight guy one day at the
beach.
Dan Castle`s LOST captures a day in the life of a young man trapped in
a world of drugs, anonymous tricks, unsafe sex and HIV.
Finally, a visit from a young priest disrupts a couple`s homelife in Carl
Pfirman`s THE CONFESSION, an intimate psychological drama about
commitment, faith and the issues we all face at the end of life.
CRUSH took the top short film award at 8 film festivals last year,
including the San Francisco International Lesbian & Gay Film Festival and the
Palm Springs International Short Film Festival. LOST was ranked as the most
popular gay and lesbian short at ifilm.com. THE CONFESSION was given a Student
Academy Award in 2001, as well as several international honors.
