A very interesting film in retrospect. The most striking to me was the "girl doing her hair" from 1905. Here is a face a beautiful as has ever graced the earth, and I sit and watch her prepare her hair, then it strikes me, this is a window to the past of 99 years. what was her name? This lovely lady one supposes enjoyed a good full life, lived through two world wars and probably passed on 50 or more years ago, yet here we sit, seeing her in her beauty today, 99 years later. Thank heavens someone had the foresight and saved this film, and this rare beauty did not pass into the anonimity of death, We can still see the sparkle in her eyes and her coy smile. Thanks for a great film.
