Celestial ClockworkDirected by : Fina Torres A modern day Cinderella story about Ana (Ariadna Gil of PAN`S LABYRINTH), a young, fledgling Venezuelan opera singer who flees her wedding ceremony and lands in Paris where she embarks on the adventure of her life. She takes up residence in a crowded attic with four Latina roommates. One of them, an evil videomaker named Celeste (Arielle Dombasle) steps into the role of “wicked stepsister,” deviously manipulating situations that will achieve Ana`s dream of becoming an opera star. An eccentric psychoanalyst, a gay waiter/astrologer, and a shaman are among a very original cast of characters. The film combines magic, astrology and witchcraft with tons of humor.
