After vewing this film, I was so impressed with its premise, I wrote to the author. I expressed my deepest appreciation for his couarge and honesty. Such love and such poetry exists throughout the free world, florishing in liberal circles. For those who have experienced it, no further proof is necessary, for those who cannot get pass their hatred, fear or sexual bias, no proof will ever be sufficent.

The film is deeply profound and evoking on many levels. This bittersweet love story is that and so much more. It`s very sensual and erotic even for us "non-pedophiles". I too am in love with the Canadian soldier.

One very original and captivating movie/story I have ever watched. Some of the content is disturbing (in a sense) for those who does not understand the premise of the story--"True Love & Romance." For those who have loved and have lost their first love; they know and they feel what the story/message is about. It kept me sighing in the end; tears of hope and sympathy. It is true that its better to have loved and lost it than not have loved at all.
I just wish that the author have made a sequel to this engaging romantic episode... the aftermath or the in between!
